Thank You for taking the time to visit our website. We are Great Yarmouth and Waveney Fencing Club and proudly boast the title of the most easterly fencing club in the United Kingdom.

Fencing all three weapons: Foil, Epee and Sabre; we welcome both experienced fencers and those who are new to the sport.

Providing regular beginner courses for fencers in Foil Fencing, during which you will be taught all of the basics, enabling you to fence fluently with the foil. For more experienced members coaching is available, allowing you to develop more advanced technique and regular group lessons are held to maintain and improve your fencing standard. The next beginner course starts on the 9th September.

Past and Present Members of the club have gone on to fence at local, regional and national level.

The club meets on Thursday nights, fencing from 7.30pm til 9.30pm at Potters Leisure Resort, Hopton. As well as fencing we arrange several social events throughout the year.
